“I started skiing when I was 3 years old and I was looking for a challenging ski domain area. I’m used to the best in Switzerland and France and was really wondering if this could be found in the US. Jackson Hole is the answer and it exceeded all my expectations. I really loved the expert level slopes with a lot of bumps, trees, jumps and off piste skiing. It was not too much queuing at the chairlift even though we skied there in February. I also enjoyed the fun in the village after the ski day with my brothers and parents. Our budget for the whole trip was around $ 2200 per person for 7 nights (excluded food).”

ABOUT MARTIN: He is an 18 year old boy that likes to participate in various sports: soccer, tennis, ski, kite surf and many others. Staying in Teton Village is a good choice. You can literally ski in and ski out from your hotel door. No shuttle or hassle to get to the ski slopes.

The shuttle to the ski slopes from the town of Jackson will take you 45 minutes. Jackson is more lively than Teton Village but you will get later to the ski slopes in the morning.

Get on the slopes at the opening to avoid queuing and to catch the first gondola.

The ski level is very advanced. However, there is a whole area for younger children or less experimented skiers.

We didn’t want to miss one single ski day but if you are not willing to do so, there are a lot of nice activities to be done in the valley or in Yellow Stone National park. You can combine skiing and discovery . Check it out here.
