ALBANE’S ROAD TRIP
FROM CHARLESTON TO KEY WEST
7 NIGHTS/6 STOPS
Cruising Down the Eastern Coastline in a Mustang Classic Convertible.
“One of Albane’s favorite movies is Gone With the Wind. Naturally, she longed to discover Charleston and visit this historical part of the U.S. The city was a perfect destination, as it boasts rich culture and history that offer plenty of activities and learning experiences for the whole family. Her husband Thomas dreamed of going on the ultimate East Coast road trip from Charleston to the blue waters of Key West. And what better way to do it than cruising down U.S. Route 1 in a shiny red Mustang convertible! The trip was relatively easy to plan. Our budget for the whole trip was around $ 1320 per person for 7 nights (excluded food and activities) .

GOOD TO KNOW
-
South Carolina is primarily a Catholic state. Many shops and museums are closed on Sundays (i.e., The Slave Museum in Charleston). Please check opening days & hours before visiting.
-
We had a dinner at Lazy Days in Islamorada. We don’t recommend this place. Stay away from it. The food was not good and the service was bad.
-
Warm sweaters are recommended when visiting Cape Canaveral. It is very cold in the show rooms.
-
Advance internet reservations are recommended for Cape Canaveral.
-
We could not drive the convertible with the top down when on the highway.
