9 NIGHTS/6 STOPS
Key Points of Florida: Beach, City and Disney parks.
We traveled to Florida two years ago to discover Miami, the Keys and to take our three active boys, Thomas and Martin (then 12 ) and Alexis (then 8) to visit the Disney Parks in Orlando. This 10-day trip is easy to do with smaller kids and has a lot of variety.

We stayed in Coconut Grove at the Sonesta hotel, Very nice area 30 minutes from Miami Beach and the center.
We went to Miami’s aquarium. The kids loved it. The dolphin performance is very typical Miami experience.
We went wake boarding and waterskiing with Miami’s skyline in the background.
We wandered in Miami’s art district Wynwood. You will discover beautiful graffiti’s on the walls, small designer shops, art galleries and small restaurants. You can easily spend half a day there and have lunch there.
For a rainy day, we recommend the Aventura Shopping center,
We also loved the Peréz Art museum, modern and contemporary art, nteresting also for the kids. There is a nice restaurant with an outside terrace for lunch.
Spend half a day at Miami beach is a must. We had lunch at the Lido Bayside Grill.
We stayed at the Southernmost resort. Very convenient location at the beach. Lovely swimming pool for the kids.
On our way to Key West, we had lunch at the Keys Fisheries, a typical fisher restaurant. Delicious.
We went for a kayak and snorkeling trip to Pennekamp State Park
We went for a Dolphin watch for half a day. The hotel arranged everything. It is quite touristy but we saw dolphins ! Don’t expect a private tour.
We stayed at the Wyndham hotel. It is located 2.6 miles from the park and they offer an easy free shuttle to the park. They arranged all the tickets to the park for the whole family.
We chose between 2 themed park of the Walt Disney World resort, one for each day: the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney Typhoon Lagoon.
